MS Udaipur Dental Clinic, Jhadol · AVS Udaipur Dental Clinic, Phalasiya — Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Visiting the clinic

Is there a dentist in Jhadol?

Yes. MS Udaipur Dental Clinic is at Manak Chowk, Lilawas Tiraha, on Lilawas Road in Jhadol, Udaipur district, Rajasthan 313001. Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh (BDS, Oral Dental Surgeon) treats patients there Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call +91 82092 15744 for an appointment.

Where can I get a root canal or dental treatment near Phalasiya?

AVS Udaipur Dental Clinic is beside the main bus stand in Phalasiya, Basi, Udaipur district, Rajasthan 313701. Root canal treatment, fillings, extractions, braces, crowns and implants are all done there by Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call +91 82092 15744.

What are the clinic timings?

Both clinics — Jhadol and Phalasiya — are open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Sunday is closed. To be certain the doctor is at the clinic you plan to visit on a particular day, please call +91 82092 15744 before travelling.

Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk in?

Walk-in patients are seen, but calling ahead on +91 82092 15744 is strongly advised. It confirms which clinic the doctor is at that day, saves you waiting, and matters most if you are travelling in from a village or from Udaipur city. Patients in severe pain are given priority.

Which languages are spoken at the clinic?

Hindi and Mewari are spoken at both clinics, and English as well. You can describe your problem in whichever language you are comfortable with, and the treatment and costs will be explained to you in that language before anything is started.

Which of the two clinics should I go to?

Go to whichever is easier for you to reach — the same dentist, Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh, treats patients at both, and the same treatments are available at each. Jhadol is on Lilawas Road at Manak Chowk; Phalasiya is next to the main bus stand. Call +91 82092 15744 first to confirm the day.

Finding us & travel

How far is the clinic from Udaipur city?

The Jhadol clinic is roughly 45 to 50 km west of Udaipur city by road, usually around an hour and a half by bus or car. Phalasiya is further south-west, about 20 km beyond Jhadol. Buses and shared jeeps run from Udaipur towards Jhadol and Phalasiya through the day.

I live in Udaipur. Is it worth travelling to Jhadol for dental treatment?

That depends on the treatment. For a single visit such as an extraction, a filling or a consultation, many patients from Udaipur and the surrounding villages do travel out to us. For treatments needing many visits, such as braces, factor in the monthly journey before deciding. We are happy to tell you honestly on the phone how many visits your case will need: +91 82092 15744.

Can elderly patients who cannot walk easily be brought in?

Yes, and please mention it when you call on +91 82092 15744 so we can keep the visit short and be ready when you arrive. Bring a family member along to help. If you tell us in advance which clinic you are coming to, we can advise you on access at that specific building before you set out.

Cost & payment

How much will my dental treatment cost?

The cost depends on the treatment, how many teeth are involved and which materials you choose, so a figure over the phone would be a guess. After an examination and X-ray we give you a clear estimate before any treatment begins, and we tell you if the work can be spread over several visits. Call +91 82092 15744 for current fees.

Will I be told the cost before treatment starts?

Yes. You will be given the estimate for the planned treatment before it begins, along with what it covers and what it does not — for example, whether a cap after a root canal is included. If something unexpected is found during treatment that changes the cost, we stop and discuss it with you first.

How can I pay for treatment?

Please call the clinic on +91 82092 15744 to confirm the payment options currently available, particularly if you intend to pay digitally rather than in cash. For longer treatments such as braces or implants, ask about splitting the payment across visits when you discuss the estimate.

Pain & treatment worries

Will the treatment be painful?

Extractions, root canals and gum surgery are all done under local anaesthesia, so the area is numb and you should feel pressure rather than pain. Only the numbing injection itself is briefly felt. Tell the dentist immediately if you feel any sharp pain during treatment — more anaesthetic can be given.

I am very scared of dental treatment. What can be done?

Say so at the start of the appointment — it is a common and reasonable fear, not something to be embarrassed about. The first visit can be an examination only, with no treatment at all, so you know what is planned before anything is done. Treatment can be broken into shorter visits, and we will agree a signal for you to raise your hand and stop at any point.

I have blood pressure, diabetes, or I am pregnant. Can I still be treated?

Yes, in most cases, but you must tell us. Bring the medicines you take, or a photograph of the strips, and any recent report. Do not stop a prescribed blood thinner on your own. If you are pregnant, tell us which month you are in — routine cleaning and urgent treatment are safe, while elective work and X-rays are usually planned for the middle three months or after delivery.

Children

At what age should a child first see a dentist?

Around the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth coming through. Early visits are short and mostly preventive: we check the teeth and jaw are developing normally and show parents how to clean a small child's teeth. Children are treated at both our Jhadol and Phalasiya clinics.

Do cavities in milk teeth need treatment, since the teeth will fall out anyway?

Yes, they do. A milk tooth keeps space for the permanent tooth beneath it; if it is lost early, the neighbouring teeth crowd into the gap and braces are often needed later. Untreated decay also causes the child genuine pain and can infect the permanent tooth forming underneath.

What is the right age for braces?

Most children start braces between 11 and 15, once the permanent teeth are through and the jaw is still growing. A first orthodontic check at around age 8 is still useful, because some bite and jaw problems are much easier to correct while the child is growing. There is no upper age limit — adults are treated too.

Emergencies

I have severe toothache right now. What should I do?

Call +91 82092 15744 straight away so we can fit you in — patients in severe pain are given priority during clinic hours, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Until you are seen, rinse with warm salt water and take the painkiller you normally tolerate. Do not place aspirin, clove oil or tobacco directly on the gum, as these burn the tissue and make treatment harder.

A tooth has been knocked out in an accident. What should I do?

For a knocked-out permanent tooth, act within the hour. Pick it up by the crown, never the root. If it is dirty, rinse it briefly in milk or clean water — do not scrub it. Either place it back in the socket and hold it there, or carry it in a cup of milk. Then call +91 82092 15744 and come in immediately. Do not attempt to reinsert a child's milk tooth.

My face is swollen because of a tooth. Is that serious?

Facial swelling from a tooth means the infection has spread beyond the tooth and needs to be seen the same day, not next week. Call +91 82092 15744 immediately. Seek urgent hospital care instead if the swelling is closing your eye, spreading down your neck, or making it difficult to swallow or breathe.
